FAQ

Question

1. How much does it cost?

Answer

Your first website licence is free. You will also need a user licence for each person you want to be able to use the webhelp client. These cost £30 each per month. Additional website licences are also £30 per month. Therefore after your free trial you can continue using webhelp for as little as £30 per month (one website and one user licence).

Question

2. How do I install webhelp into my website?

Answer

We will supply two pieces of code that you (or your web designer) simply need to paste into your website. One is responsible for the visitor tracking, the other inserts the Webhelp contact buttons that users can click to get in touch with you.

Question

3. How long does it take to install?

Answer

Adding the code to your site only takes a few minutes. Add another few minutes to install our chat client on your PC, and you could have a fully-functional webhelp system in less than half an hour.

Question

4. How do I tell webhelp where to send chat transcripts and other emails?

Answer

This can be configured within the webhelp client software at any time from the "Site Properties" options page.

Question

5. Is there a minimum contract length?

Answer

No. Billing occurs on a monthly basis and you can cancel at any time, without a cancellation fee or notice period.

Question

6. How does the callback feature work?

Answer

The callback option displays callback requests within the webhelp chat client software, allowing you to manually call the user. The details are also emailed to you.

Question

7. How does the chat client work?

Answer

Full documentation is included within the webhelp client software. Getting started is as simple as installing the program, logging in with details we will provide, and responding to chat requests from your website visitors.
